A team of scientists deduces a machine and process to use regular water to produce energy. After the celebration of their sucess the industrial warehouse that was home to their experiment is blown to flaming bits. With one member of the team dead and another missing two other members are the object of FBI scrutiny. They go on the run with the feds hot on their tails. The two lead the FBI to a secret underground facility where they find a replica of their machine and the missing scientist. A government conspiracy is unmasked and an exciting escape must be tried as the machine is started up and set to blow yet another crater in the Earth.

The nature of temptation. Banks is a hit man, the best, usually working for Latin American drug cartels. He picks up solitary women, uses them briefly for a job, then kills them. A group of adolescent boys, placed in a summer camp by their otherwise too busy parents, find themselves unable to fit in and are soon branded as bedwetters by their fellow campers and unsympathetic counselor. On their way to free the bison, individual flashbacks reveal the relationships each has with his own family and give insight to their reasons behind wanting to set the bison free. Karen and Richard Carpenter's singing of the title song occurs now and again throughout the movie to underscore the the drama.

Greed is bad, this simple morality tale cautions.
